A trial using PiggyCox on piglets led to the observation of an increased weaning weight (+215g) as well as an improved body condition score of the sows.
PiggyCox acts to reduce diarrhoeas in younger piglets. The test presented above shows a reduction of oocysts (coccidian protozans in encapsulated form) in the excrements of piglets supplemented with PiggyCox.
This significant reduction in encapsulated forms after 7 days, then 14 days, of supplementation translates a decline in the presence of parasites in the system, leading to fewer bowel injuries and thus reduced cases of dirrhoea.
